Hi, I'm Sara!

1. I'm named after the song by Fleetwood Mac.

2. I was born and raised in Minnesota but like the rest of the world, I fell in love with New Zealand on screen watching Frodo (& Sam) save Middle Earth.

3. The first time I stepped foot here was in 2010 when I was a senior in high school. It changed my life to say the least. Kiwis are remarkably friendly, helpful and relaxed.

4. I came back to NZ in 2016 on a working holiday visa and met my husband, on Tinder!

5. It's a good day if I have time to make myself a matcha or french press at home.
6. My husband is a born and bred South Auckland-er and this is where we live, with our one-eyed dog named Rubble and our son, Rory.
7. Becoming a new mom has really shown me how important it is to capture the little moments in life. Ferris Bueller wasn't kidding, you don't want to miss it.
8. I got my first tattoo when I was 16 and have too many to count.
9. Besides quality time I would say that food is definitely my love language!
10. I very much miss snow. So if you're looking for a photographer to book a flight and shoot in a winter wonderland, I'm your girl!
I'm glad you're here!
With over a decade of photography experience behind my camera strap, I crave shades of green and muted earth tones as you can see in my work. My inspirations are the vast landscapes I get to witness and the unique stories we all have.
I'm an American who fell in love with New Zealand and sequentially fell in love with my very own kiwi bloke. I'm a dog person and a proud mum living in South Auckland. But will happily travel to all corners of Aotearoa to photograph you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE GETTING

As your photographer you'll be getting someone who loves adventuring before anything. Finding the beautiful location or the perfect light brings out my passion as much as the sweet glances and subtle moments between lovers. If you are down for it, I'd love to plan an epic spot for photos. Something different. Whether that be in the city or the mountains. I'll be there to capture you in your element as well as give you guidance to not leave you hanging. I like the non-traditional element of life — lets embrace the real you not what you might think photos have to be. If you like what you see around here make sure you get in touch to plan your shoot. I can't wait to create with you!
